We had a brief stop in the small town of Cuijk. Located in The Netherlands, this town is part of the Liberation Route. The Liberation Route Europe is an international remembrance trail connecting important milestones of modern European history. Liberation Route Europe links the main regions along the advance of the Western Allied Forces during WWII.
Kerkhof Park
This historical cemetery is centuries old and located along the river. It was a quiet walk cemetery. In fact, there are two cemeteries beside each other, a Protestant and Catholic cemetery.
The former Protestant closed in 1972 and now has artist work on display.
