Another day exploring historical towns and cities starts with Maastricht. This city of The Netherlands sits along the Meuse River. This city has a wealth of heritage sites and buildings.


The Dutch seem to know how to reuse empty buildings. A perfect example is the Dominican Church, which is now a bookshop.


As we walked through this ancient city, you can seem Medieval walls that appear to blend in with the surroundings.

Moving on through our walk in the city center, we explored a bread making factory and saw the devils gate.
