Rotterdam
Rotterdam is another old city with it originally being settled back in 900 AD. Unfortunately, most of the city was destroyed by bombing during WWII. It is still worth a visit as I learned during a same day stop along with Dordrecht.

During our most recent river cruise, we explore the Bavarian city of Bamberg Germany, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The medieval layout of the city with its three settlement areas is still well preserved.

We explored Rothenburg, which is one of the best preserved medieval cities in Germany. The city is encircled by many-towered walls.
