Exploring The Medina of Marrakech

The Medina

Dating back to the 11th Century, the Medina is the oldest part of Marrakech. The Medina is a UNESCO World heritage site. Exploring the Medina is not for the faint of heart. Your senses come alive walking through the maze that is the Median. Simple, but spectacular baked-mud walls surround it. The famous Djemaa el-Fna square is at the heart of the Medina. Flanking this huge square is the towering Koutoubia Minaret. We booked the Authentic Moroccan Food Tour in Marrakech with Dinner via Viator at the end of our first day in Marrakech
